ok the callista image on wookieepedia is from the 1998 star wars encyclopedia where it's cropped just as weirdly. and i was able to find a version on the internet archive but he doesnt??? credit??? images???? there's a bit in the foreword about how he thanks the trading card guys, dark horse guys, and lucasfilm librarian. but theres no like fig. 1 fig. 2 like a textbook would have. because star wars isnt about that nerd shit

ive checked the database of cards from the custom card game, this image does not appear anywhere there. a quick duckduckgo for any appearances in any dark horse comics isnt promising. the above image appears to be a different style than "murder in slushtime"

It looks a lot like a color version of her picture in the old (1994) Essential Guide to Characters. I'm pretty sure it was originally in black and white, though-- I don't know if it was colored and used somewhere else later, but that might be a place to start?

you are so right!!!! i was able to find it on zlibrary and it's totally the same image. so when they colored it for the encyclopedia they also decided to crop it really weirdly i guess?

also lol this book was published before they gave her a last name or anything it's a fascinating bit of paratext
